On August 6th, a hands-on mushroom farming training was organized at the school by Yas Kumar Praja from EHN (Eternal Hope Nepal). Both students and staff took part in learning the full process of cultivating mushrooms, starting with cutting straw into small pieces, then boiling it for sterilization. The prepared straw was carefully packed into plastic bags together with mushroom seeds placed along the outside. Small holes were made in the bags for air circulation, with pieces of cotton inserted to prevent insects from entering. This practical training aimed to equip everyone at the school with valuable new skills while also providing a potential new source of nutritious food for the community.

From August 3rd to August 15th, a Basic Computer Training was organized by Engineers Without Borders Nepal (EWBN) for the students of Swabalambi Basic School of the Deaf. This training aimed to give the children the opportunity to connect with the digital world, opening doors to new knowledge, communication, and future career possibilities. Students were introduced to essential computer skills, from operating a computer and typing to exploring safe and educational uses of the internet. For many, it was their first hands-on experience with technology, and the excitement was clear on their faces. By equipping the children with these skills, EWBN is helping bridge the digital divide, empowering them to learn independently, express themselves creatively, and engage with the global community.
